"Winner take All"

Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Are you one of those people who seemingly never win at anything? No matter how hard you try; relay race, sweepstakes, door prizes, amusement park games, dance competition, whatever it seems you can never win at anything. Well I have good news for you, winners are not born they are made. One of God’s greatest champions King David penned in Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me. David acknowledges that he was born in sin; nevertheless it never stopped him from becoming the King of Israel.

Like David, we must learn to think like champions. For many of us this means we will need to completely change the way we think. In order for us to win we must align our thinking with what it is God is saying about us. We must embrace the Philippians 2:5 way of thinking, which says “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Every champion no matter how great had to work at it and overcome adversity. And you thought champions were born.

I believe in every one of us there are seeds of greatness, which we generally refer to as our potential. However, what we decide to do with these seeds is really what will matter in the end. Whether or not we choose to cultivate or develop these seeds will ultimately make the difference of whether we become champions or lead a life of mediocrity.

You might ask how do I start thinking like a winner? Well, I’m glad you asked.

· Visualize yourself doing what you thought you would never do
· Stay focused; even if it means walking alone
· Learn to push through the pain; knowing difficult times will come to an end
· Celebrate every stage of your progress whether great or small
· Speak the Word over yourself; recite the promises of God
· Push yourself to the limit until your life is perfectly aligned with God has said about you
· Rest in him and prepare to embrace a new dimension of His Glory

The expression “Winner take all” refers to a situation or outcome whereby the winner receives all the prizes or rewards. However, it recently took on a deeper meaning for me, as I heard the words echoing down in my soul. “Winner take all.” More than expression it became a directive from God. It occurred to me that God was addressing me as the “winner.” He was saying because you are a winner you shall take all! Today God wants you to know - you are a winner who will take all!

Pressing into another dimension of His Glory,

Welcome to My Blog

I decided to create this Blog after talking with a friend and spending time with some of the most talented women I have ever had the opportunity to meet in one place. The most encouraging thing was the authentic support I received from these women. They inspired me to put my love of writing to use as I prepare to author my first book. Because this Blog was birthed out of encouragement it is my goal to write articles which will inspire, encourage and thrust you into a deeper place with God. I look forward to our time together and sincerely pray you will be blessed.
