Romans 8:29
One thing is clear change is inevitable. It is one of the few things in life, which is constant. No matter how we try, we can not avoid it. Change has a way of interrupting your plans, your agenda and your life. Whether un-scripted, unexpected, unexplained, or uninvited change will come. Sometimes it rings the doorbell; at other times it aggressively kicks in the door. Sometimes it will politely call to schedule an appointment; but most times it simply shows up unannounced. If you are anything like me sometimes you get tired of going through changes!
Even still change is in the atmosphere, the climate, the culture and the church. Yet the Bible declares that God does not change. Ever wonder why it seems everything around you is changing? It seems the moment you get comfortable God causes change to visit you? Why do you think this is? Why does the God that changes not take us through so many changes?
I’m glad you asked. When God brings change into our lives it is not meant to frustrate us nor is it without purpose; rather God allows change to bring us into harmony with Him. He does it to bring us into perfect alignment with His purpose for our lives. See His desire is for us to walk in sync with His will. I know you must be thinking; is this even possible? Yes it is. Do you remember Enoch? The Bible says he walked with God until he was no more. Enoch was in such perfect alignment with God he could no longer be seen. He was hidden in the will of God. Imagine what it would be like to be in perfect alignment with God.
As odd as it seems this is where God wants us to be in Him. Like it or not, his way to get us there is through change. When we fail to embrace change, when we try staying in our comfort zone we stand the risk of missing God all together. When change comes into your life it is God telling you; you can’t stay here and you can’t stay in this condition and remain in harmony with me. Some things, people, and places we have become attached to need to change.
We must position ourselves to embrace the next move of God in our lives. We must be willing to accept change. As long as we are connected to those things which prevent us from being in perfect alignment with the will of God for our lives we will continue to go through changes. Romans 8:29 declares For those whom he foreknew he predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. My friend, God is not taking you through changes he is taking you through a metamorphosis.

Welcome to My Blog
I decided to create this Blog after talking with a friend and spending time with some of the most talented women I have ever had the opportunity to meet in one place. The most encouraging thing was the authentic support I received from these women. They inspired me to put my love of writing to use as I prepare to author my first book. Because this Blog was birthed out of encouragement it is my goal to write articles which will inspire, encourage and thrust you into a deeper place with God. I look forward to our time together and sincerely pray you will be blessed.
